In the 5E model, what resources would you find in Engage?
Here are some of the resources you might find in the Engage section of our units:
- Amazing Anchors (Part 1) - These files are designed to book end your units. Introduce a new phenomena to your students, and ask them open-ended questions that require no prior knowledge. Give them an extension activity based on a cross-cutting concept.
- Engagement Ideas - Introduce the topic of a unit with a teacher-led demo, a video, a class discussion, or another activity that is quick and easy to implement.
- Word Wall & Objective Cards - Easy to print and display in your classroom during your unit. Available in color or black and white, and the Word Wall Cards are available in English and Spanish.
